President Bio Makes First Trip Since Re-Election
Aaron Parker Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio is set to embark on his first official trip outside the country since his recent re-election.
Today, His Excellency will depart from Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone, and head to Abuja, Nigeria. From there, he will proceed to Bissau, the capital city of Guinea Bissau, to attend the Sixty-Third Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) on July 4th, 2023.
Before departing for the ECOWAS meeting, President Bio is scheduled to meet with his Nigerian counterpart, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Abuja.
The meeting aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Sierra Leone and Nigeria and discuss regional cooperation within the ECOWAS framework.

Congrats our president. you are God sent for the people of Sierra Leone, when the opposition were unprepared. you were busy with development in our country. The APC voided the Kailahun district votes during the Earnest Koroma past regime, but the SLPP give peace a chance during that past election, but why the APC don’t want to give peace a chance, APC think they are the only political party that should rule Sierra Leone? APC have used to a one-party state during the Shekia and Momoh days.
The man that knows how to deal with APC is president Bio.
