BREAKING: APC MPs Boycott Parliamentary Induction
Members of Parliament (MPs) from Sierra Leone’s main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) have boycotted the opening and induction ceremony of members of the 6th parliament.
Earlier, the APC intimated that they will not be partaking in governance due to disagreement with the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) 24 June results.
Days after the presidential election results were announced, a dossier containing signatures of APC MPs, mayors and chairpersons surfaced.
There are reports that the said MPs that append their signatures are absent at the ceremony.
Maybe you think the APC were joking, wait and see!!!
Thank God. Hope the Mayors chairperson and councillors boycott too. So that God will remove the mammy cuss party from our country. Which is the main bad luck in this country
My APC party are very stupid enough to play cheap politics. What’s the meaning of boycotting the ceremony, they are very foolish and selfish.
This is a learning point for the slpp,as for me am very much appreciated for this kind of decision that the APC party had under taken and i hope it’s a good fate for the country’s democracy.

This is the most stupid decision ever to be made by APC. The government will surely continue to run and parliament will function as usual without APC. So the second winning MPs from other parties will now take the place of the APC MPs. That solves the problem. You have to be close to a problem for you to be able to solve it but if you think by staying away is the answer, you will only aggravate it for yourself.
If APC thinks they can hold the country to ransome, that is a congenital lie. This is just like death, whoever dies, will be burried and life will go on. APC is dead and burried and life in Sierra Leone must go on as usual. Millions of more serious and useful people should not suffer because of one stupid and foolish group of miscreants called the APC.

This is terrible. How can a government run without opposition members in a democratic state?. Our fragile democracy keeps sinking and eroding everyday; I think at this moment, we need to use dialogue in order to unite our polarised country.
The third opposition party are going to carry all APC seats in parliament, provided if they fail to participate in parliament so the country will not be under one party state.

Ignoring the fact that boycotting of the APC has no significance can soon be seen activating. Gone are those days of one party system if that is the claim that the SLPP wants to make, they are making a big mistake in this modern day democracy. Only ordinary party supporters of the SLPP will think such but sincerely, those who are their party heirachies knows what will befall them if they resist on doing the right thing.
