FC Kallon’s prolific striker, Alie Conteh has been voted player of the season for the 2022/23 Sierra Leone Premier League.

The Striker found the net 19 times for Cavaliers this season helping his team grab 4th place.

Conteh faced stiff competition from Bo Rangers’ Abu Komeh and Lamboi FC’s Ibrahim Kamara.

The voting was done by members of the Premier League Board Media Committee and senior sport journalists across the country.

Final matches in the league were played during the weekend.

Bo Rangers reclaimed their title becoming only the second team outside Freetown to win the league back-to-back after Diamond Stars.

Meanwhile, East End Tigers, FC Johansen and Kamboi Eagles relegated from the Sierra Leonean top tier.

The three teams will play their regional Division 2 Leagues next season.
