Parliament of Sierra Leone Approves New NRA Commissioner General
The Parliament of Sierra Leone has on Thursday 27th July 2023 approved Chief Ibrahim Brima Swarray as the new Commissioner General, National Revenue Authority.
According to public views, his appointment as Commissioner General of NRA did not come as a surprise, considering his developmental strides across the country and his role in transforming the National Public Procurement Authority.
Many described his developmental projects as a boost to president Bio’s agenda in transforming the country; citting his support to school pupils through his foundation.
He was accompanied to the well by supporters from various parts of the country.
Addressing supporters after his approval, Commissioner Ibrahim Brima Swarray expressed appreciation for the support and respect accorded him.
He told them that the confidence reposed in him by president Bio will be well managed for the benefit of this nation and vowed to increase the revenue mobilization in the country to support government developmental projects in the country.
Commissioner Ibrahim Brima Swarray thanked President Bio, the First Lady and the people of sierra Leone for believing in him. He encouraged all to put the country’s interest above all.
