The National Youth Commission (NYC) in Sierra Leone has participated in a 3-day multi-sectoral retreat that involved different ministries, departments, and agencies for a developmental drive.
The retreat with the MDAs was based on the fact to develop a consolidated youth sector plan at the fabulous resort in York.
According to the NYC, the event is geared towards enhancing total access and inclusivity whilst promoting the effort toward employment and empowerment through a result-based service delivery that will help to improve the capacity of young people in the country.
The NYC Commissioner, Ahmed Atata Mansaray and his Deputy Emerson Kamara represented the commission as well as the program’s manager, Mr. Momodu Wudie.

The theme of the program was based on the ‘scaling up his excellency the President’s agenda for effective and result-based service delivery geared towards youth empowerment and job creation.”
