As Sierra Leone commemorates Armed Forced Day in remembrance of servicemen, the country’s president Julius Maada Bio in his statement to the nation, paid tribute to the fallen servicemen.
President Bio started by honoring the bravery, sacrifice, and resilience of the Armed Forces, reminding the nation of the profound debt of gratitude they owe to those who have served and continue to serve the nation with unwavering dedication.
The president furthered his speech by paying tribute to the fearless heroes whom had laid down their lives in defense of the sovereignty and the principles of freedom, justice, and democracy
