Sierra Leone Football Gets Boost as SLFA And NSA Pledge Collaboration
Julius Mustapha Harding The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Thomas Daddy Brima, met with the new National Sports Authority (NSA) Executive Director, Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai, on Wednesday in a significant development for the country’s football scene.
This key meeting, held at Dr. Abdulai’s office, aimed to establish a strong partnership to drive the growth of football in Sierra Leone. Brima, accompanied by senior SLFA officials, discussed strategies with Dr. Abdulai and his team to propel Sierra Leonean football onto the international stage.
The focus was on securing qualification for major tournaments like the Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 FIFA World Cup, along with pushing women’s football on the continental scene. President Brima emphasized the importance of collaboration and pledged strong cooperation between the SLFA and NSA.
