Woman Speaks Out After Facing Backlash For Questioning President Bio at Town Hall Meeting
Aaron Parker Haja Mariama Kuyateh the woman who faced backlash during the recent Presidential Town Hall meeting at the Bintumani International Conference Centre has publicly addressed the incident. She claims that the meeting was scripted, and she wants to assure the public that she is safe and in a secure location.
In her statement, she highlighted that she possesses a Sierra Leone passport, national ID card, and voter registration, which qualify her to attend such meetings and ask questions. She emphasized that it is her right as a patriotic citizen to raise concerns.
Urging people to set aside politics and focus on the well-being of Sierra Leone, she expressed pride in standing up for the many citizens who did not have the opportunity to question President Bio about rising food prices. She remains steadfast in her commitment to representing the voices of those affected by the high cost of essential items in the country.
