The Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) has announced the restoration of power supply to residents of Wilberforce, Lumley, Regent, and Goderich.
A statement issued on Friday, August 16, 2024, indicated that the outage was caused by a cut wire between the Wilberforce Substation and Wilberforce Barrack. Repair and maintenance work has since been completed.
“The Authority is pleased to announce that normal power supply has been fully restored to the affected communities today 16th August, 2024.” the statement said.
EDSA has urged customers to report any electricity-related issues through their hotline, 672, or by contacting them on 077672672.
