President Bio Proclaims Date For The Commencement 2021 Mid-term Population And Housing Census
Ishmaila Jalloh President Julius Maada Bio has proclaimed the date and period for the conduct of the 2021 Mid-term Population and Housing Census.
The President announced that after all preparations, the Census will commence on the 10th December and run to the 23rd December, 2021.
President Julius Maada Bio reiterated that the purpose of the Census to correct the anomalies of the 2015 Census, to provide credible data for planning and development and to prepare Sierra Leone for the next Population and Housing Census.
The President explained that Statistics has recruited 15,000 field staff who will be trained shortly ahead of the Census.
The President commended national and international partners for their support and wised every Sierra Leonean a successful Census.
