On Tuesday, 14th January 2025, Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio and First Lady Fatima Bio joined a guided tour of the King’s Estate to explore the impactful initiatives of the King’s Foundation.
The visit, which highlighted the Foundation’s dedication to fostering vibrant communities and empowering youth, was also attended by Commonwealth Secretary-General Rt Hon Patricia Scotland KC and renowned actor Idris Elba.
The King’s Foundation, known for its comprehensive approach to community development, focuses on several key areas, including health and well-being, educational employment, sustainable construction, textile design, and farming and rural skills.
