Presidential Aide Denies Alleged Appointment of New Peace and Entertainment Ambassadors
The Office of the President has firmly denied claims circulating online that President Julius Maada Bio has appointed Peace and Entertainment Ambassadors.
The false information stems from a doctored public notice that has been widely shared on social media.
According to the doctored press release, Linda Samai aka Star Zee has been appointed as Peace Ambassador while Frederick Dapaye Peters aka Famous was appointed as Entertainment Ambassador.
Addressing the situation in a Facebook post, Director of Communications in the Office of the President, Myk Berewa said the notice is entirely fake.
“This is a fake, fraudulent and doctored press release! Please ignore it and check our official authoritative platforms for reliable government information and press updates,” Berewa stated.
He further urged the public to disregard the fraudulent release and rely solely on official government channels for accurate and trustworthy information.
