ACC Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala and Wife Accused of $250,000 Property Fraud
Fatmata Grace Bangura Sierra Leone’s Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Francis Ben Kaifala, and his wife, Sonia Stanley Kaifala, are facing accusations of fraud involving a $250,000 property transaction.
Dr. Mohamed A.S. Deen alleges that the Kaifalas unlawfully took possession of his property at No. 33 Lawrence Street, Goderich Village, Freetown. According to Deen, Sonia Stanley Kaifala, who acted as his legal representative during negotiations in 2019, set up a payment plan that required a 50% deposit before full ownership would be transferred.
However, Deen claims that the Kaifalas failed to complete the payment, taking control of the property without settling the agreed amount.
Deen also accused the couple of using their political influence to maintain possession of the property, which has since been developed into their private residence. Despite repeated requests, he says he has not received any payment for the sale.
Authorities have not yet made any official statement regarding an investigation into the matter.

If this accusation is true, this is beyond acceptable and he can not remail head of anti corruption. That is a joke. Bio needs to sack him. Yes, he needs to pay what he owes, but there is no fixing this.
In my opinion I think we have competent law court in Sierra Leone where legal issues are discussed rather than tarnishing the characters of meaningful personalities in society
There is no corruption issue here. If it is true, I can be a breach of contract
I don’t think the complainant is tarnishing the character of the ACC boss, according to report, the issue has started from 2019, and the complainant has tried to reach out to the ACC boss for settlement but all efforts proven to be unfruitful.
