His Excellency President Brigadier General (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio has appointed Mr. Barba Brima Fortune as the new Secretary to the President, according to an official statement released in line with Section 67(1) of the 1991 Constitution of Sierra Leone (Act No. 6 of 1991).
The announcement, made public on Tuesday, marks a significant administrative appointment within the Office of the President.
As Secretary to the President, Mr. Fortune is expected to serve as a key figure in coordinating presidential affairs, supporting executive functions, and facilitating communication between the presidency and other arms of government.
