A 30-year-old man has been accused of impregnating a 12-year-old virgin girl, who had been missing for three weeks. The disturbing allegations have raised serious concerns within the Tengbeh Town community, where the incident occurred.

Victor Grant, a student at Fourah Bay College, reported that the girl’s family was in distress during her disappearance. They made numerous attempts to locate her.

On Monday, June 30, 2025, the girl’s mother successfully found her daughter and sought to understand her prolonged absence. However, the girl did not respond to her mother’s questions.

Speculating about her daughter’s physical condition, the mother decided to conduct a pregnancy test, which confirmed her suspicions: the girl was pregnant. Following this revelation, the family urged the girl to lead them to the location where she had been staying.

Upon arriving at the man’s residence, the family kept their distance and instructed the girl to knock on the door. When the man answered, he reportedly asked if the girl had returned, unaware that her family was nearby. The family quickly approached and began questioning him about his relationship with the girl.

The man acknowledged knowing the girl and admitted to having sexual relations with her. However, he denied responsibility for the pregnancy, claiming he was not the only person involved. In contrast, the young girl insisted that he was the only one who had been with her.

This incident has sparked outrage and concern with the community regarding the safety and protection of their girls. Authorities are expected to investigate the matter further to ensure justice is served.
