The family of 16-year-old Mariatu Kamara are searching for their daughter after she failed to return home from school after taking her final exam in the just-concluded Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Mariatu failed to return home together with her classmate and friend, Kumba Kamara since they left home to take their final BECE paper.

“She left house this Friday to take her final paper on Religious Moral Education (RME) but has since failed to return,” her aunt, Dora Conteh confirmed to Sierraloaded on Sunday morning.
Conteh, who works at a bank in central Freetown, said she only knew that her niece had failed to return home when she returned home from work at 7 in the evening.
“We have already reported the matter to the Barracks Police in Kissy and we found to get positive news soon,” she said.
Conteh said that they are pleading with anyone with vital information that could assist them locate their daughter to come forward or report to the Kissy Barracks Police or any other police station.
16-year-old Mariatu is a pupil of Richard Allen High School located at Low-cost in Kissy.
