Leone Stars goalkeeper, Mohamed Nbalie Kamara, commonly known as Fabianski, has touched down in Freetown to enjoy his off-season holiday break.
The Sierra Leonean shot-stopper, who currently plays for Singida Black Stars SC in the Tanzanian Premier League, is on loan at Pamba Jiji FC to gain more match time and maintain form. He has been instrumental in both clubs’ campaigns and is expected to return to club duties once the break concludes.
Now back on home soil, Kamara is spending quality time with his family and close friends—recharging and reconnecting after a demanding season. His presence has already excited fans who continue to celebrate his contributions to the Leone Stars and his growing success abroad.
The goalkeeper is well-known for his heroics in the 2021 AFCON Tournament in Cameroon where he won a man of the match award against then defending champions Algeria.
He became the first Sierra Leonean goalkeeper to win the award and thereby gaining international recognition. He later moved to Guinean top club, Horoya but struggled with form before leaving for Tanzania almost two years later.
