In the early hours of Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, armed robbers reportedly invaded the home of Mr. Alhassan in the Sumaila Town community, resulting in serious injuries to both him and his wife.
Reports indicated that the attackers broke into the family’s residence, where Mr. Alhassan was shot in the stomach. His wife was also injured, sustaining a serious wound to her feet during the brutal assault.
Eyewitnesses described the assailants as heavily armed and aggressive, threatening anyone who attempted to intervene.
Local security agencies were quickly alerted, and investigations are currently underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
