A prominent Nigerian business mogul, Iwuchukwu Ebere Christian, has been  remanded at a correctional facility after appearing before Principal Magistrate Braima Jah of the Pademba Road Magistrate’s Court No.1.

Christian faces charges related to the unlawful possession of 46 pellets of cocaine without lawful authority.

The remand order was issued by His Worship Magistrate Jah following Christian’s initial court appearance.

Details surrounding the circumstances of his arrest and how the significant quantity of illicit drugs was discovered have not yet been publicly disclosed by authorities.

During the brief court proceeding, the decision to remand Mr. Christian was made to ensure further investigation into the matter.
