On July 24, 2025, the Technical Director of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Ibrahim Bah, participated in the West African Football Union Zone A (WAFU-A) Technical Directors’ Workshop held in Praia, Cape Verde.
The two-day workshop, held from July 23rd to 24th, 2025, brings together technical directors from WAFU-A member nations to engage in discussions aimed at enhancing football development across the region. The event is organized by WAFU-A in partnership with the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The workshop focuses on building the capacity of technical leaders and promoting regional cooperation in football administration and coaching. It is part of a broader CAF initiative to professionalize football management and raise coaching standards throughout Africa.
Although the specific venue in Praia has not been disclosed, the workshop provides a platform for sharing experiences, best practices, and development strategies among participating countries.
Mr. Bah’s attendance represents SLFA’s participation in regional efforts to align technical approaches with wider continental objectives for football development.
