The Directorate of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) paid a courtesy visit to the Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) to establish a strong collaborative partnership between the two bodies.
The meeting was led by DSTI’s Director and COO, Jasper Patrick Sembie, and welcomed by SLRA’s Director General, Ing. Alfred Jalil Momodu, alongside departmental heads and key technical staff.
This engagement marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at leveraging technology to enhance SLRA’s operations and service delivery.

During the engagement, Discussions focused on how DSTI can support the Sierra Leone Roads Authority through the development of tailored digital systems and tools that improve project management efficiency, data management, and decision-making in road infrastructure planning and implementation.
According to DSTI’s this is part of a broader mission to work with government MDAs to deliver smarter public services through innovative, tech-driven solutions.
‘’We look forward to formalising this partnership with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the coming weeks.’’
