Commercial motorbike rider Emmanuel Tommy appeared before Magistrate Augustine Brima Samura at Pademba Road Court No. 8 on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, on allegations of manslaughter in the death of Mohamed Bah.

According to the police report, Tommy is accused of unlawfully killing Bah on Friday, May 30, 2025, while riding a TVS Star HLX motorbike with registration number AUV 346 in New England Ville, Freetown.

During the court proceedings, the charge was read and explained to Tommy, but no plea was entered due to the serious nature of the offence. The case has been adjourned to July 31, 2025, for further hearing.
