A young boy was allegedly stabbed in the face near the Annie Walsh Memorial Secondary School compound in Freetown during the night hours of Friday, August 1, 2025.
The alleged perpetrator has been identified as a man known only as Ibrahim, also referred to as “YG.” Witnesses claim he attacked the boy under circumstances that remain unclear.
Sources close to the situation revealed that the victim may have sustained serious injuries, with one of his eyes reportedly affected. The extent of the injuries has not yet been officially confirmed.
The identity of the victim is yet to be confirmed, as it is quite difficult for the boy to speak up in order to make his identity known to the authorities.
Observers have quickly transported him to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. His current condition remains unclear as authorities await updates from medical personnel.
As of now, the arrest of Ibrahim, the alleged assailant, is yet to be confirmed, and officials are actively investigating the incident.
