East End Lions Football Club have been crowned champions of the 2024/25 Leone Rock Premier League, concluding a commanding season that saw the “Killers” dominate Sierra Leone’s top-tier football.

The title was sealed on Saturday, August 16, 2025, after Bo Rangers defeated Bhantal FC 2-0, a result that mathematically secured East End Lions’ championship without them having to kick a ball. The victory also moved Bo Rangers into third place, overtaking FC Kallon, and added even more pressure to the battle for the final top spots.

East End Lions’ journey to glory has been nothing short of remarkable. Over the course of the season, they played 32 matches, winning 21, drawing six, and losing just five. Their consistency in front of goal and a solid defense conceding only 19 times earned them a total of 69 points and the best defensive record in the league. Their +20 goal difference highlighted the balance between a strong attack and a disciplined back line.

Meanwhile, Bhantal FC finished six points behind the new champions, while FC Kallon and Bo Rangers continue to battle closely for third place. At the opposite end of the table, FCFC and Bullom Stars have already been confirmed for relegation, with two more teams still fighting to escape the drop.

East End Lions’ triumph not only cements their status as one of Sierra Leone’s most successful clubs but also sets the stage for their return to continental football, where they will aim to replicate their domestic success on the African stage.
