The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Transition Committee has successfully concluded its public sessions with staff and key stakeholders in the football sector, marking a major step towards its final report.
For the past two weeks, the Committee has engaged administrators, technical officials, procurement and finance officers, as well as representatives from government and the wider football community. As part of its work, the Committee also visited the SLFA Technical Center to assess progress and identify areas requiring further attention.
“These engagements provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and gather valuable information that will inform the Committee’s final report,” said the Committee Chairman, Dr. Isaac Massaquoi.
Meanwhile, the SLFA Executive Committee has approved a one-week extension for the Transition Committee to complete its work. Dr. Massaquoi explained that the additional time will enable the team to carefully consolidate feedback and produce a comprehensive report, which is expected to be submitted by the end of next week.
The final report is part of the Committee’s mandate to support improved governance and the sustainable development of football in Sierra Leone.
