The Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs, Honorable Patrick Michaelson Gibrilla, recently met with the newly appointed Commissioner of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to discuss key initiatives aimed at enhancing youth skills development and migration management.

The high-level meeting focused on joint resource mobilization and co-creation efforts to explore skills development opportunities for returnees, as well as strengthening bilateral efforts to support youth reintegration and empowerment.

This visit marks a significant step in deepening the shared commitment to creating market-driven opportunities for young people and establishing referral pathways for returned migrants to sustainably reintegrate into their communities.
