Amidu Kargbo, alias Foundation, faces remand as he awaits judgment on charges of larceny for allegedly stealing over 15,000 Leones from a cash box in Freetown.
Kargbo is facing one count charge of larceny, contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the charge sheet, on July 12, 2025, at Long Bench, Imatt, in Freetown, Kargbo allegedly stole a cash box valued at Seventy Leones (Le 70) containing the sum of Fifteen Thousand Leones (Le 15,000), totalling Le 15,070, property of Bakarr Wulleh.
The prosecution has closed its case, while the accused informed the court that he would rely on his police statement in his defence.
Magistrate Soa Mamakoh Betty Kallon has adjourned the matter to September 11, 2025, for judgment.
