The President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Babadi Kamara, led a high-level delegation to Marampa Mines Limited (MML) in Lungi on Wednesday, 17th September 2025, to present a sponsorship proposal aimed at supporting the Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League.

The delegation included Vice Presidents Ali Badara Tarawallie and Prince Kai Saquee, Chairman of the Northwest Regional Football Association Abdul Osman Turay, Ex-Officio member Mohamed Sorie Jalloh, Acting General Secretary Mohamed Benson Bawoh, and Women’s League Secretary Angela Gabidon Esq.

SLFA officials were warmly received by Marampa Mines’ Managing Director, Angula Kalili, and Finance Director, Simba Michaela. The discussions were described as productive, setting the foundation for a promising partnership expected to boost the development and growth of women’s football in Sierra Leone.

The collaboration with SLFA is anticipated to bring significant opportunities and resources to strengthen women’s football nationwide.
