Taking Hip-Hop music to traditional music, Sierra Leone’s Queen of Rap, Star Zee made a comeback for 2025 with a traditional song from her local language called Mende. The rapper titled the song as “Doli”.

“Doli” is a song that Star Zee remixes from Sierra Leone’s famous music group called Afro National Band with the song titled “Satta” featuring Patricia. The band considered the song as a love song with a touching story.

Known as a rapper, Star Zee explores his local dialect to give her fans and Sierra Leoneans a danceable song. “Doli” is a deep Mende song with a mixture of traditional instrumentals. The song is about praising your partner as she dances very well to entertain you and going the extra mile to make you happy. It shows the strength of women and what they are capable of doing.

The song is produced by Sierra Leone’s prolific music producer, Wilbert.
