Popular music producer Nashito Kulala has publicly praised veteran Sierra Leonean rapper Ambassador Kao Denero, amid recent online speculation suggesting tension between the two artists.
In a heartfelt message, Kulala lauded Kao Denero’s resilience and contribution to Sierra Leone’s hip hop scene, describing his career as “no child’s play” and “a monument of inspiration for every aspiring artist.” He highlighted the rapper’s dedication and craftsmanship, noting that his efforts “have not only shaped the culture of hip hop but also given it value.”
Kulala acknowledged that while he may not always celebrate Kao Denero openly, he holds his work in high regard. “Your legacy has etched your name in the history books of Sierra Leone entertainment, and it will live forever,” he said, emphasizing that his praise comes without any ill intent.
The producer also encouraged Kao Denero as he prepares for an upcoming music compilation, jokingly referring to their fans’ reactions. “Your fans entertain me with their outrage. That’s all loyalty though, so I often get it,” he wrote.
Kulala’s public acknowledgment aims to dispel recent rumors of a feud between the two music icons and celebrates the enduring influence of Kao Denero on the Sierra Leonean music industry.
