Leone Stars have welcomed two new players to the squad as preparations intensify for Wednesday’s key World Cup qualifier against Burkina Faso in Monrovia.

Midfielder Abu Dumbuya, who plays for Zabbar St. Patrick DC, and forward Samuel Gandi from Politehnica UTM Chisinau have officially joined the camp.

Both players arrived in high spirits and are eager to make their mark in what is shaping up to be a must-win encounter for Sierra Leone.

Victory at the SKD Stadium would move the Leone Stars into second place in the group, keeping their dream alive for a potential continental playoff spot in November.
