Her Excellency Madam Fatima Maada Bio on October 5, 2025 served as the Distinguished Grand Chief Patron for the official opening of the 2025/2026 Judicial Year for Bo and Pujehun Districts.

The event marks the beginning of a new chapter in the administration of justice for the region, signaling the judiciary’s continued commitment to upholding the rule of law and protecting human rights.

In her statement, Madam Bio emphasized the vital significance of the judiciary’s role in maintaining justice and fairness.

“This significant event marks a fresh chapter in the administration of justice, and I am humbled to have been a part of it. As the Distinguished Grand Chief Patron, I was privileged to witness the formal proceedings, marking the importance of upholding the rule of law,” she stated.

The First Lady commended the judiciary officials in both Bo and Pujehun Districts for their “tireless efforts” in strengthening the rule of law and advancing access to justice for citizens.
