Sierra Leone’s rising swimming star, Peter J. Bewie, put the nation in the continental spotlight with a stellar performance at the Africa Aquatics Zone II Championship.
Competing in the 50-meter breaststroke, Bewie finished with an impressive time of 39.06 seconds, securing second place and marking another milestone in his promising career.
Despite his challenges, he was able to overcome them all with a focused mind and delivered an outstanding performance at the Africa Aquatic Zone 2 competition in Ghana.
Fondly nicknamed “Baby Dolphin,” Bewie’s dedication, discipline, and determination continue to inspire a new generation of Sierra Leonean athletes. His achievement underscores the country’s growing presence in African aquatic sports and brings pride to fans back home.
