Authorities have been alerted to a suspicious death after 36-year-old Mohamed Fajah Jalloh was found lifeless in his room at Mount Aureol in Freetown on Friday.
The discovery was marked by multiple bloodstains on his body, raising serious concerns over the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.
While the exact cause remains unknown, preliminary intelligence hints at a potentially premeditated act, leading to growing calls for a full investigation.

Jalloh’s family has expressed deep dissatisfaction with how the matter has been handled so far. They allege that the property owners, from whom Jalloh rented the room, have shown little to no interest following the incident, fueling suspicion and frustration.
The family further claims that despite reporting the case to the police, there has been no tangible progress or update on the investigation.

As a result, the relatives have opted to pursue an independent autopsy to establish the exact cause of death. In their plea for justice, the family is urging the Sierra Leone Police and all relevant authorities to take swift and decisive action.
