The President of the Sierra Leone Bar Association has expressed her gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC) for awarding nine scholarships to association members to pursue Master of Laws (LLM) degrees in Europe.
In a statement, the Bar Association President said the initiative reflects her commitment to providing opportunities for further education and professional development under the association’s empowerment and capacity-building programs.
“In collaboration with MOFAIC, led by Minister Timothy Kabbah, the successful applicants have received their visas and will depart in the coming days to advance their studies,” she noted.
She extended her appreciation to Minister Kabbah, his team, and President Julius Maada Bio for supporting the initiative, which she said will enhance the professional growth and international exposure of Sierra Leone’s legal practitioners.
The scholarships mark a significant step in efforts to strengthen the skills, knowledge, and global experience of the country’s legal community.
