Two men are in police custody after officers at the Calaba Town Police Station intercepted three hundred (300) tablets of Tramadol during a targeted operation at Limba Corner on Sunday, 2nd November 2025.
According to police reports, the operation was conducted around 12:45 p.m. by the station’s Operations Team, acting on credible intelligence about illegal drug activities in the area. The suspects, identified as Suliaman Jalloh and Ali Mohamed Joseph Mansaray, were arrested at the scene for unlawful possession of the controlled substance.
During the operation, a third individual, Michael Conteh, was also taken into custody for allegedly obstructing officers in the lawful execution of their duties.
Law enforcement officials say the seizure represents a major success in the ongoing crackdown on narcotic drug trafficking and abuse, particularly in communities where Tramadol misuse has become a growing concern.

The confiscated tablets and the suspects have since been transferred to the Kissy Police Division for further investigation and possible prosecution.
Police authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining public safety and intensifying efforts to disrupt the distribution of harmful substances within local communities.
