Girls’ schools across Sierra Leone have received a major boost as SLFA President Babadi Kamara brings football directly to schools and communities.
The initiative aims to strengthen grassroots development and ensure that every child, boys and girls alike, has the opportunity to play the beautiful game.
Kamara’s vision reflects a strong commitment to developing female football, a sector that has historically faced limited resources and opportunities. By embedding football programs within schools, the SLFA is nurturing future talent while empowering young girls to embrace sport as a pathway to confidence, leadership, and national pride.
“Football must be accessible to every child, regardless of gender or background. Our schools and communities are the foundation of Sierra Leone’s football future,” Kamara emphasized during the program launch.
