“Leh Den Kont We” is the official song by the Government of Sierra Leone for the 2026 2026 Population and Housing Census to create awareness and sensitize the public about the forthcoming census.

The song is done by a cross-section of top Sierra Leonean musicians including I-Tribe, Isat, Kass, Empress Pee, K-Man, M2, Colabo, Slim G and Cool Laj. It also features the August 2024 speech of His Excellency President Julius Madda Bio during the launching of the 2026 Population and Housing Census in Sierra Leone.

“Leh Den Kont We” is done by different tribes, ensuring that the message reaches everyone in the country. The song urges all Sierra Leoneans to participate in the forthcoming census to help the government plan for the country and have complete data.

The 2026 Population and Housing Census in Sierra Leone was officially launched by the government, supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The census aims to provide accurate population data essential for evidence-based policymaking and resource allocation across various sectors, including education, health, and infrastructure.

“Leh Den Kont We” is calling out all Sierra Leoneans to take part in the census and allow them to be counted.
