It was a moment of appreciation, engagement, and future prospects as finalists of the popular Housemates Salone reality TV show, on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the management of Rokel Commercial Bank (RCBank), one of Sierra Leone’s leading financial institutions.
The visit, led by the senior management team of Africa Young Voice (AYV) Media Empire, was aimed at expressing gratitude to Rokel Commercial Bank for its immense support during Housemates Salone Season Four a partnership widely credited for promoting youth empowerment and entertainment in Sierra Leone.

Welcoming the delegation, Head of Public Relations at Rokel Commercial Bank, Aruna Dumbuya, said the bank has consistently supported initiatives that align with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He explained that when AYV approached the bank to support the Housemates Salone reality TV show, management responded positively by providing financial support to help push the programme.

“Rokel Commercial Bank has always been committed to initiatives that support national development, particularly youth-focused programmes,” Dumbuya noted.
Speaking on behalf of the bank’s management, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Emmanuel E. Borbor, reaffirmed Rokel Commercial Bank’s strong commitment to the Housemates Salone brand. He said supporting young talents aligns with the bank’s CSR objectives, adding that the institution looks forward to future collaborations with AYV and Housemates Salone on projects, product promotions, and innovative initiatives.
Mr. Borbor further stated that the bank remains pleased to associate with developmental activities across the country, which is why it continues to support AYV and Housemates Salone. He described the recently concluded season as “the best so far” and assured contestants and organizers of the bank’s continued support. He also urged the Housemates finalists to maintain their dignity and uphold their reputations, reminding them that they are now ambassadors and role models to many young people.

Other senior management staff of the bank, including the Head of Operations, Mr. Adekali Kamara; the Marketing Manager, Ms. Michaela Dora Macauley; and the Director of Risk Management, Mr. Abdul Rahman Mahdi, commended the AYV team and the Housemates for returning to formally appreciate the bank’s support. They also assured them of continued backing and potential future collaboration.
Speaking on behalf of AYV Media Empire, Chief Operating Officer, Messeh Leone, said the delegation was accompanied by what he described as “the best Housemates ever” to show appreciation to sponsors who supported Housemates Salone Season Four. He thanked Rokel Commercial Bank for its unwavering support, noting that the bank has been a consistent partner to AYV, not only for Housemates Salone but also for other programmes aired on the station.

In response, the Housemates finalists expressed heartfelt appreciation to the management of Rokel Commercial Bank for believing in the brand and supporting youth-centred initiatives. They encouraged the bank to continue investing in programmes that empower young people.

The winner of Housemates Salone also made a special appeal to the bank to consider engaging the Housemates as brand ambassadors, noting that their influence could help promote the bank’s products and attract more customers.
