The First Lady of Sierra Leone, Madam Fatima Bio, on Saturday evening attended the annual Dinner Dance and Fundraising event of the Pujehun District Descendants Association (PUDDA) at the Freetown International Conference Center.

In her remarks, Madam Bio expressed her honor at contributing to a cause close to her heart. “Pujehun District has been my political home since my inception,” she said, noting her appreciation for the district’s ongoing development initiatives. On behalf of herself and her husband, she donated 100,000 Leones to support these projects.

The First Lady commended PUDDA for organizing the event and thanked the association for the invitation. She emphasized that true leadership is rooted in compassion, unity, and service, urging all to continue working together for the progress of Pujehun District.

The annual fundraising event brought together members of the Pujehun diaspora, community leaders, and well-wishers, highlighting their commitment to advancing social and economic development in the district.

Madam Bio concluded her remarks with a message of goodwill: “May God bless us all.”
