FC Kallon ended their eight-game winless run in emphatic fashion with a 3-0 victory over Ports Authority in the Leone Rock Premier League midweek opening fixture of Matchweek 12 at the Approved School Field.

The Cavaliers, who had gone seven matches without a win following four straight victories at the start of the season, delivered a dominant performance to secure their first league triumph since defeating East End Lions in December. The result marked a significant turnaround for FC Kallon after a difficult run that included four draws and three defeats in their previous eleven matches.

Ports Authority, known as the Waterfront Boys, entered the match also seeking a return to winning ways, having failed to record a victory in their last three league outings. Their most recent win was a 1-0 success over Bullom Stars at the same venue. Prior to the clash, Ports Authority had recorded four wins, five draws and two defeats from eleven matches.

Both teams started the game with attacking intent and created several chances in the opening stages, but neither side was able to score in the first half hour. The deadlock was eventually broken in the 32nd minute when Momoh Lapo Dumbuya finished calmly from a low cross delivered by Unisa Dumbuya, giving FC Kallon a 1-0 lead at the break.

FC Kallon continued their strong display after the restart and doubled their advantage just one minute into the second half. Unisa Dumbuya found the net in the 46th minute, this time turning provider and scorer around with an assist from Momoh Lapo Dumbuya.

The Cavaliers maintained control of the match, and Gibrilla Koroma added a third goal in the 53rd minute to put the result beyond doubt and complete a comprehensive 3-0 victory.

The win moves FC Kallon temporarily into third place on the league table with 19 points from 12 matches, while Ports Authority drop to fourth position on 17 points, having also played twelve games.

FC Kallon are scheduled to face Luawa FC at the Approved School Field on 31 January 2026 in Matchweek 13, while Ports Authority will take on Bai Bureh Warriors at the same venue on Friday, 30 January 2026, as the Leone Rock Premier League continues.
