Reports reaching Sierraloaded has it that Solomon Joe, a journalist who works for KISS 104 FM in Bo, is in police custody for a broadcast concerning a transaction issue between two businessmen.
Two officers from the Criminal Investigation Department in Freetown reportedly went to Bo on Monday 7th February 2022 and “ordered the arrest” of the journalist after statement was obtained from him in Bo.
While Sierraloaded awaits a statement from the police, we will will continue to monitor the situation.
