The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has commenced the nationwide distribution of standard match balls to football clubs and associations ahead of ongoing and upcoming competitions.
According to a public notice issued on Thursday, January 23, 2026, the distribution targets Premier League clubs both men’s and women’s along with Regional Football Associations and District Football Associations.

Under the distribution plan, each men’s and women’s Premier League club will receive ten (10) match balls. Regional Football Associations are allocated fifteen (15) balls each, while District Football Associations will receive five (5) balls each.
The SLFA has advised representatives of beneficiary clubs and associations to collect their allocated items from the SLFA Secretariat in Freetown, starting Friday, January 23, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on all working days.
The initiative forms part of the SLFA’s ongoing efforts to support football development and ensure standardized equipment across leagues and competitions nationwide.
All beneficiaries have been encouraged to ensure timely collection of the match balls.
