Orange Sierra Leone’s new CEO, Madam Aicha Touré, has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to deepening collaboration with the Government of Sierra Leone.

This follows courtesy visits to the Minister of Finance, Honourable Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura, and the Inspector General of Police, William Fayia Sellu.

The discussions focused on expanding internet connectivity, advancing financial inclusion, promoting mobile money for tax and revenue collection, and strengthening digital security.

The Minister commended Orange for its compliance and strong corporate social responsibility record over the years.

Madam Touré underscored Orange’s strategic importance to Sierra Leone’s growth and expressed confidence in deepening cooperation with the Police, particularly in company-related investigations.

Inspector General Sellu welcomed the renewed commitment from the new CEO, noting the productive and evolving partnership between the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) and Orange Mobile Networks.

These engagements highlight Orange’s ongoing commitment to driving digital transformation and national development in Sierra Leone.
