A young woman identified as Sinnah Bangura has reportedly died in Makeni, northern Sierra Leone, after allegedly being severely beaten at home.
According to reports from residents, the incident occurred at her residence in Makeni, a city in the Northern Province of Sierra Leone. Community sources alleged that Bangura sustained serious injuries following a physical assault.
Medical results, as cited by community members familiar with the case, indicate that she suffered multiple blunt-force injuries affecting her head, neck, spine, and abdomen. The extent of the injuries reportedly suggested a violent attack.
Reports further state that Bangura was taken to the hospital by the main suspect, identified as Manzo, and his mother. However, she reportedly died on the way before receiving medical treatment.

Residents have expressed concern over the handling of the matter. According to community members, the suspect’s mother was granted bail at the Sierra Leone Police Rogbaneh Station, while her son remains in custody.
