The JMB and Associate Members, acting on behalf of President Julius Maada Bio and First Lady Fatima Bio, has continued its annual tradition of distributing Ramadan food items to mosques across Bo District, supporting Muslim communities during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
In a statement, First Lady Fatima Bio noted that the initiative reflects the President and her commitment to compassion, unity, and interfaith harmony, emphasizing the importance of solidarity during this sacred season of fasting, prayer, and reflection.

“Yesterday, the JMB and Associates members, on behalf of my husband and myself, distributed Ramadan food items to various mosques across Bo District, in continuation of our cherished annual tradition,” she said.
The outreach aims to renew faith, strengthen national bonds, and inspire peace and understanding across Sierra Leone, while offering tangible support to communities observing Ramadan.

The First Lady also prayed for the nation, saying: “May Allah (SWT) accept our prayers and fasting, bless our nation with peace, and grant every home joy and provision. Ameen.”
The annual food distribution by the JMB Wing, representing the President and First Lady, has been widely welcomed as a demonstration of generosity, solidarity, and support for Sierra Leone’s Muslim population during the holy month.
