Players, staff, and supporters of the Old Edwardians Football Club recently gathered for a joint Iftar dinner, an event the club highlighted as a strong display of religious tolerance and team unity.
The sunset gathering served not only as an opportunity to break the fast, but also to strengthen camaraderie within the club as they pursue the Leone Rock Premier League title. During the event, Club Chairman Hon. Richard Hindolo Senessie and Hon. Chernor Ramadan Bah delivered a motivational address to the squad.
The leadership’s message to the players centered on the critical need for discipline, focus, and self-belief. Chairman Senessie reassured the team of the administration’s unwavering commitment, noting that the necessary preparations, resources, and motivational promises have all been fulfilled by the club’s top brass.
The executives emphasized that the responsibility now rests with the players on the pitch to make history for the club.
“We have done our part; we have provided what is needed,” Chairman Senessie told the team. “Now go out there, stay disciplined, stay focused, and bring this trophy home for the Old Edwardians family.”
