The Bo Magistrate Court No. 1 has reportedly issued a bench warrant for Sierra Leonean rapper Alhaji Amadu Bah, popularly known as LAJ, along with Ibrahim Koroma, after both individuals failed to appear in court on Friday, 27th March 2026.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the court took the decision following the absence of the accused persons during a scheduled hearing. The case involving LAJ stems from allegations that he made abusive and insulting remarks directed at the Mayor of Kenema, Thomas Baio.

Sources indicate that Mayor Baio was present in court during the proceedings. The alleged remarks were reportedly made by LAJ during a recent stage performance in Bo, which prompted the legal action.

Authorities are expected to take the necessary steps to ensure that the accused persons are brought before the court to respond to the allegations.

However, LAJ, also known as King Boss LA, has denied receiving any formal communication from the court. He confirmed that he has not received any letter of summons regarding the matter in Bo.

The situation continues to develop as efforts are anticipated to secure the appearance of the accused before the court.
