Meat Seller Exposed in Freetown After Using Dog Meat as Barbecue to Sell in The Street
A Sierra Leonean Man identified as Alusine Jacop has been caught with a dead dog in his hand which he uses to make the barbecue that he sells in the street of Freetown.
A reporter from Salone Congosa, filmed and interview the Street barbecue seller. According to the interview, the seller resides at Thunder Hill, Kissy in Freetown. He said, this seller kills dogs and used it as roast meat to sell to the public.
In the video we can see that, he is carrying a dead dog with him as he is being interviewed.
Sierra Leoneans who are in the habit of purchasing street barbecues, are therefore advised to be aware and be mindful of the dangers of purchasing not only barbecues in the street but also other cooked street foods, as such food are not good for human consumption.
