The Ministry of Gender and Children’s Affairs (MoGCA) received the newly appointed Country Director of EduNations Inc., Rev. Kandeh Koroma, during a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and reinforcing shared development priorities under Sierra Leone’s Medium-Term National Development Plan (MTNDP).
During the visits, the Country Director of EduNations Inc., Rev. Kandeh Koroma, noted that the visit marks an important step in formally engaging key government institutions as he assumes leadership of EduNations in Sierra Leone.
He emphasized the organization’s continued commitment to supporting national development efforts, particularly in advancing gender equality and child protection initiatives.

“It is essential for us to build and sustain strong institutional partnerships with the Ministry of Gender and Children’s Affairs as we work together toward achieving national development goals, especially in areas that directly impact women and children,” he stated.
In response, the Permanent Secretary of MoGCA, Aminata Y. Sannoh, expressed appreciation for EduNations’ continued partnership and its contributions to improving access to education for children in hard-to-reach communities, as well as its broader support to child rights programming.
She reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining an open and collaborative environment for development partners, stressing that such relationships are critical to achieving sustainable national outcomes.
“The Ministry values the longstanding support of EduNations and remains committed to strengthening partnerships that contribute meaningfully to the advancement of women and children across Sierra Leone,” Mrs. Sannoh said.
The visit signals a renewed phase of collaboration between EduNations and MoGCA, focusing on stronger policy implementation, improved service delivery, and the advancement of the welfare of women and children nationwide.
